    We don't even have inspections any more, I don't think after the 50's 60's

    I remember those Kansas Highway patrol OK stickers. Sometimes they would have safty stops along the highway . Lights and wipers and look at tires was about it and they stuck one of those OK stickers on your car.

    I can't imagine volunteering to have anything inspected by the state.....even for free. I used to get letters from a State of Missouri safety something-or-other to do a complimentary, no-citations-will-be-issued safety inspection of my fabrication business. I could just imagine a "real" inspector showing up a couple days later to "finish up" the free inspection.

    But, back on topic......cool old sign!
