Joker, do you know anything about the engine in the last photo? I looks like YBlock valve covers, but the engine is not a YBlock, exhaust spacing indicate maybe a 302 Ford. It also looks like it has direct injection. Just curious.

The motor in Mike Brock's 34 PU is actually a late model aluminum LS Corvette.
The fuel injection manifold is rotated 180 degrees with the throttlebody hidden inside the firewall within an old heater.
The coil pacs are inside the air cleaner. The lengthened early Ford valve covers were adapted to cover the LS originals.
This PU is Mike's daily driver!

Thank you for posting the pics and supporting the relief effort. My grandparents retired to Paradise in 1965. My mother moved there in the '80s to help with my ailing grandmother. My brother moved to Paradise in 2001 to help my aging mother. Other than great memories, this is what is left. BTW: brother made it out driving thru flames with his cat, lap top and one change of clothes. His insurance company has already paid up too. 1308ElliottRd.jpg
