Pic request...59 Elcaminos

I'd like to see as many pics of 59 elkys as possible. I think I may try to score one in the not too distant future. I mean, does any car look as "pissed off" as a 59 Elcamino with chrome reverse wheels and either wide or narrow whitewalls? So please, if ya got em, let's see em. Thanks in advance.

 

Here's my ol' 59. Not much to it. Nosed, shaved doors, antenna, tailgate welded shut and filled with impala tail lights. Also a 2-piece bed cover I made with hinges in the middle .Good luck and please keep us posted if ya get it.

 

Just like I said...it looks pissed off. I mean that in a good way. Nice car man.

 

Thanks. Damn, I miss that thing. I Had to sell it at that particular time last Sept.
Wouldn't mind ******ing up another one someday if the opprtunities arise.
In the mean time i'll be lookin' for a late 30's-40's cruiser project.

Never had a 59 Elky ... but I too really like them .
Had a 59 BelAIr car ... long time ago ... in 1962 ...

Red and white ... 283 ...
Sold it and got me a ... old car ... a 1955 Chevrolet 150 post coupe ..

 

Now THAT is phenominal. And thanks a bunch for the link. I looked at every one and saved a few. While that view of that car is great, the more shots of it I see the less I like it. But the workmanship is right on. The one 59 elky posted for us is one of the best. Just plain mean lookin.
