Building a 34 Willys sedan and making a 2 door out of it. Kicker Kraft is the most amazing at having parts fit like a glove... Here we go!!
That Blown Hemi is my uncles car. The Sedan will be a street car with an axle and a blown small block Chevy,
My favorite year willys. Looking forward to the progress on this car. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
My bad! Posted to wrong subject...should have been to "Rarest 32 3 window...". I owned and drove the Pappert-built Y for 7 years. I was able to contact John and get details of the build before he passed. A nice guy. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Here's the rear portion of my sedan...while it's a '36, it is similar to the '33-'34's. There are speakers behind the seats, along with the battery box, and access to the in gas tank fuel pump for the TPI motor. No room in the dash, so note the radio/CD player under the seat on the left. These are definitely small cars, so make good use of the room you have. Note also the thin sliver of a 3rd brake light...it is very bright and necessary if you are using stock tail lights. Lots of insulation as well, and note the handles above the doors to assist rear passengers to get out. g-willys
Ours will have just enough room for 1 rear seat not 2.. Thanks for the info. The fuel tank is going to have to be triangle in shape across the back.
These are the narrowest buckets I could find...about 19-1/2" wide...EACH...they are Fiero Buckets, with the headrest cut down to see out the back window. G-willys
Here is the front seats...they are very narrow, but still leave little or no room between the seats...you may also notice the head rest speakers...very nice sound. G-willys
You're not wrong there! At some point in the future there'll be a ruckus somewhere with that pic being cited as a Willys, which, as we know, is how the new, internet, truth is created. Not like any '32 3w I've ever seen either. Chris
