sold. 1930 Ford Model A Roadster pickup - RPU Ch***is, radiator surround, hood and engine are original FORD, Brookville body and bed. Clean LA ***le. Banger motor was built by Ron Kelley, insert bearings, big pistons, stromberg 97, makes about 60-70 hp and tons of torque. Has a 5-speed T5 transmission. Good for cruising at real world speeds. All top quality parts used in the build. Car was put together 2009 and then I pulled it apart a couple years ago to rework the firewall and paint the body. Drove it for 5 years in primer. Haven't taken the time to put it back together, so I thought it might be time to p*** it along. Bring a trailer and cash. No trades.
Bump. Been letting this sit, thinking I'd get back to it... Maybe when the kids go off to college in 5 years... Until then, I'd like to have my garage space back. It really is a well put together car. Gets attention, but not too much. Most people have never seen a flathead, much less a banger. Open to offers. Have a couple bins of misc parts that will go with the sale as well.
Found the car again in my garage - has a new firewall installed, ready to finish and put back on the road..
