No hating here, only love. The lettering on the side might as well say BAD MOTHER ****ER, that's what it is.

He found it, GREAT! I've been sooooooo worried!!
Where did I leave it. I don't know how I could lose something so big.
Did you see my "LOST" posters on the telephone poles?
Tell Hopperstad I'll be over to pick it up.
Of co**** there will be a small finders fee. And I do mean small.

    DAMN!!! That is awesome.

I also was thinking of the Travel Ons 32 when I saw this one. Anybody know if the Travel Ons are still around or the car still exists??

  21. Well, yeah Drew, I suppose it's an okay find, if you're into vintage Deuce coupe drag cars and stuff like that :D

Don't tell anybody how much Hopperstad paid, it would cause a m*** wave of chronic depression.

Well that brings back memories!!! That my old car! Yes I rember reading about in the Tribune or Suntimes in 1983/84 ?? I bought it out of chicago from a guy named Oreo. It had a 283 tripower fenderwell style headers three speed manual trans (you could tell the power plant was a transplant) It had a single fibergl*** bucket seat in it all lite tin interior panels. it had a 56 ?? olds or pontiac rear end (I beleive it was a 513 gear??? it was tight) welded to some square steel that slid into the frame and bolted down. Hardtail rear how crazy. Spindle mount front runners a moon tank lexon windows. one of the scarest roll cages I had ever seen. and the brackets for the monoleaf wheelie bar. The guy I bought it from said he would send me a picture he had of it (he never did) It was at the drag strip launch pad standing it on the whellie bars back in the day he thought it was U.S. 30 ??? it had a small block chevy set way back with a tunnel ram 2 fours and an automatic. Oh man I was 17 when I had that car?? I was a stupid kid with no money no parts resources. That was long before the days of ebay and online reproduction websites even the HAMB. It makes me semi ill seeing it again I wish I would have never gotten rid of it. Tell Hopperstadierez I want see I have more stories and info. Jeff

  28. So it finally popped up.You talked about it enough Jeff.I was beginning to think you were BS'n me:D :p .Yeah you're right, you shouldn't have gotten rid of it.No sweat, keep working on the one you have now.;)

Finally a legitimate bump to a 7 year old *** thread...

I heard through the g****vine that the old Bad Hombre has been drug out of the corner and is sitting on a frame again!
