Well it has been about 4 weeks or so since I started working on Roberts (A31MOFO) Model a Coupe and it is starting to look like a Hot Rod. I rolled it outside yesterday for the first time since it has been at my shop getting new subrails, body mounted to the frame, and steering column and steering set up. Was trying to get it ready for Bowling Green but it does not look like it will make it. Next goal will be the Hamb Drags.

Next on the list is to set up the brake and clutch pedals, finish some floor braces in the front, fill some holes in the firewall, and then the pops can take off with the mechanics. Gonna be a real cool car. I cant wait till it hits the streets.

    Heres the pics

That is still the goal but I only got two more weeks that I can thrash on it for you. I will be heading out of town the week before to go to Missouri and then Bowling Green, KY. We will see.

Nice work. Lot of cool tin rolling out of there. I don't think you live in Combine....more like Coolsville or Hot Rod Heaven!

Not that good Larry but close. Them kids are a blast. I used to care if she slowed me down now I just set back and watch her and laugh. Thanks for all the compliments. This aught to be a really cool car when it it done.

I'm very familiar with 30-31 style Model A coupes. But I've always worked with Model A's on A style frames, I never did get a chance to use a 32 frame.

Nice to see the detailed photos of what's involved with making the conversion to the 32 chassis.

Is the rear part of the new subrail basically a piece of heavy guage flat stock laid on the top of the frame rail with a rectangulaar length of tube cut and bent to fit over on top of that?

    Nice job!
