I haven't ever been to the show, i've tried to go the last 2 years...and this year...and i happen to be working Saturday, is there more than one day ?? Whats the turnout usually like ?? Guess it depends on the weather, is it more of an afternoon thing or if i'm up there by 6:00pm will i still catch a lot of good cars ??

I have never been either. my boss always goes for the whole weekend leaves friday night and doesnt come back till sunday night. Im goin this year leavin early saturday morning. Supposedly one of the biggest car shows in alberta. something like a couple thousand cars from what ive heard. its supposed to put powerama here in edmonton to shame. I guess we'll see.

When I lived in AB I went every year.
Good show. Bit of a cruise later on after the show.
    Good variety of vehicles.

I would be heading to the Diablos show in Calgary if the stuff on the HAMB is more your bag -- lotsa muscle cars restos and street rods in 3 hills and its your typical "car show". Diablos show will have bands (I'm biased cause we're playing) us guys from the Kreepers are goin as well as Steve and Don from the Road Demons from what I hear another HAMBer Brent (Kruzer63) is making the trip so there will be some HAMB attendance.
Wont be as big buy I am willing to bet it'll be more fun. I personally would rather see 50 cars that I like than 1000 billet toilets.
See ya there if you come. We'll all be hitting the road Sat morning.

I'm there, sounds like a much better show, and much closer too, i went to SAIT at the same time as the Diablo that built the 49 flat black chevy, i can't remember his name, never talked to him either, its pre 63 so i guess my heap will be outside the gates by ONE YEAR...its not show/drive in/cruise night/ worthy anyways. I hear there was a pretty sweet tudor coupe that showed up at an A&W cruise last saturday, i hope he'll be there. Again i'll be around in the late afternoon/dinner time. I got no HAMB gear though...if you talk to a 20 year old looking kid named Jason...its probably me.

a few pics of the Diablos show for those that missed it.

One of our club members went to Three Hills instead and said it was mostly late model Mustangs and mini-trucks.
