Technical Uprated Headlamp Bulbs

Sounds sensible. The reason why I decided to give these bulbs a try is that they are short and that most of the light is sent backwards and sideways into the reflector - but having said that we come back to the fact that everything is limited by the lense on a T headlamp.

You won't be limited to 21W with a BA15S bulbholder if you use halogen bulbs from here:

They're based in the UK, so shipping shouldn't be expensive.

 

Thanks. I bought the 40w bulbs from there to use for the dipped beams.
