Penncraft lawnmower, anyone seen one like this?

I just bought this off of a friend of mine, pics don't really do it justice, it's super low to the ground, has a 3 speed floor shift and an I beam axle, racing stripe, pleated vinyl seat, ect. Looks like a go-kart with a mower deck. Anyone know anything about these, other than they were sold at Penney's?

 

I’ve never seen one of those before...very cool. I have a soft spot for strange mowers and from time to time i pick one up and put it in the lineup with all the Fords.

It's like a push mower with a Jalopy mounted to it. Very Cool.
