Projects Finally finished up the 4 speed swap ...

Just thought I’d throw an update up on my old 63 Shortbox... I posted about this when I finally signed up after stalking everyone for years . Anyway long story short I swapped my old pickup over to a Muncie four speed, did an axle flip in the rear and switched out the wheels . I like looking through everyone’s posts on here and look forward to getting to know everyone.

You say you did an axle flip.those have truck arms and coil springs on the rear.i know the bigger truck had leafs,did yours

 

Mine is leaf spring rear . From what I’ve gathered it was a option on the c10’s and many of the GMC’s . This truck is a mishmash of parts . The ***le says gmc but it has the Chevrolet grill and gate .

It looks very nice. My brother had one years ago, but with rear coils. That was the last year of the wrap around windshield.
