Customs F100 heater hose connections

I have a 1956 F100 with the firewall heater control valve .There are 4 hose connections (two from the valve and 2 from the heater core). Anyone know which one runs to the intake?..water pump? And am I correct that the two hose connections I show (blue and orange)plugged are looped together? Probably same for '53-'56 F100 Ford trucks.
