I am having lots of trouble with this subject. Since I did not take the windows out, I do not have any pictures of how they go back in.
I am hoping that a kind soul will be able to post some here of the sliding window when open and the fixed gl*** showing how and/or what tracks they go into as they came from the factory.
Some suppliers have channels that might work but I need to know which will come close to factory.
It strikes me as odd that kits are available for the 57 & 58 and shoebox's but nothing for the 52-56.
    Doesn't seem fair!
Thanks in advance and please pardon my venting.

Got that, but it does not show how these weather strip and track gets installed. I was hoping for a photo. The sliding track is felt lined & U shaped. I have no clue what the stationary strip is like.

50sboy - This helps. I got the slider figured out, but what is the piece in the second picture that seems to be screwed in on top of the interior window frame?
I guess my real question is what is the stationary window window strip and what does it look like?

When I bought my wagon last year, the guy i bought it from tried like Hell to get the Sliders out to no avail. He even hired a bodyshop guy w/ no luck.
As far as the channels, no one makes direct replacements, but it looks like you've already said that.
I havent gotten far enough along to find decent replacements yet. Thinking about sending then out for re-lining.
As far as the screws in the second picture, those are the interior trim pieces that screw on.

There's a guy with a '55 wagon on The Ford Barn. His user name is frank long island. Join that if you are not already a member and ask him about his.

OK...so the stationary gl*** rubber is a finish rubber - around the gl***. I think that the rubber - for the stationary gl*** may be similar to a early (pre 67) VW bus side windows.... lap finish rubber for the stationary window....the u-channel is available from carpenter I think and/or others. I spoke with Matt at Restoration Spe******ts 814-467-9842 ext 1756. He said that there are two items that will work for the sliding side windows. Their part numbers are: Y528-96 and Y526-96
Matt stated that the Y528 part is cloth covered and easier to work with than the rubber covered Y526 part.
The 96 is the length and should just about fit the 2 door windows.
Still checking on the fixed window rubber seals.

EXTRA NOTE: They have a channel for the sliders that is 108" long and will fit the 2 door wagons. The 96" piece falls about 3" short. Contact Matt for information on this longer length channel. It fit nicely into my wagon. (added 04-28-2019)

When I was striping our wagon for repairs & sandblasting I pulled out all the rotten window slides and threw them away thinking someone made the replacement pieces and like me you guys have discovered no one does.

When I got to the gl*** I realized I would have to fabricate something to work so I went to my local trim shop and looked through their felt window channel and discovered it would work but the wasn't deep enough and was below the metal channel in the body so I made a filler strip to raise the felt about 1/8" above the metal " U " channel in the body, I used adhesive to glue the metal filler and the window felt in place.

The stationary gl*** was glued in with black window adhesive, I later found some Nissan rubber and modified it to fir around the rear of the stationary gl***.

I realize it's hard to visualize the last part but I offered a post in 2016 that touched on this and there are photos that should help, HRP

Rule #1 with old cars... never throw out an old piece of anything no matter how bad it looks...

I added the modified rubber around the rear gl*** and glued it in to help keep the water out. the part number is.

My car was a basket case too, played many hands of go-fish figuring out what I needed and how to use what I had.
