Man, I hate televisions, but you keep dragging me to one!

This will be the second tv show I watch this year.

Congrats on making the all-star list! that's cool company, well, maybe not that mini-truck ***, but the rest of 'em :D

Too bad Devil's Doorstep was too far for a cameo, or was it?

  4. Hey Mike, Me and Megan will definately watch. How often do you get to see a Fellow wrestling fan on T.V.! Send her a message, I'm sure she'd love to hear from you.

And yes it is a two hour finally. I think Jessie is going to retire after this one and count his $$ for the rest of his life.

On his latest show, "Iraq Confidential" someone joked that Jesse should run for Congress.
His reply? "I couldn't take the cut in pay!"

Bad Bob- Not sure about the Dirty Doug deal... He's one of the Beatnik guys.... has a tattoo shop- all I really know. Way kool guy though.

PhatCaddy- I'm not so sure of "The Man" part of Gene, but he does paint alright. Me and him don't work to well togeather- but u'll have to watch to see that!

Repoman- Sorry buddy I tend to do that to people...

  10. Hey lil Mike, will be watching.

Had a quick question for you. I saw you on a Century Chevrolet commercial on TV here in Denver. I was curious if you filmed it here in Colorado? I was also wondering if it is a universal commercial that any Chevy dealer could put in their own vehicles and prices? Its a great commercial. Every time I see it I crack up!

I see fame creepin' up on you man! E

The commercial is actually shot here in OK. We played it here last summer for Fowler Toyota in Norman, OK and Riverside Chevy in Tulsa OK. It originally stars another guy (chad stevens)- not the other guy that u see. The production company here came up w/ the idea and shot it/ it won an addy award and I guess the dealership that u see liked it enough to want their version of it.

The Original is probably a little better (the guy u see w me didn't put as much effort as the first guy) and the remake- I had to walk around cars that weren't there where we had cars before.

Thanks for noticin though! I wondered if anyone had seen it.

Mike, you're a bad mofo. There aren't many people here that wouldn't take **** from Gene Winfield. The rest of us would probably lick his boots if he told us to.

Can't wait to see this :D

Ah... it ain't that. I got alot of repect for the guy- but his ways and mine are so off- like oil and water to do the same job...

When I first started workn for my dad (at about 9 yrs old) he would let me grind weld and **** on big stuff that wouldn't crack- by my teen years I can level out sheetmetal welds pretty good and then bodywork over it within a few inches of the weld and it's flat w/ the rest of the car-

Gene told me I was grinding the welds wrong! I'd love to tell yall the rest of the story but i'll wait till the show is aired and done- then ask.....

But none the less... Thanks for the compliment!

I can't imagine anyone knowing more about grinding welds than Gene Winfield. My dad used to say, "I can only tell you, It's up to you to listen"
    Won't miss this show.

    Hey what up lil Mike!!
Great show and a great honor for anyone to be on the last show. I understand your feelings about creatively working with someone and not seeing eye-to-eye. Great job on the show and some *****in stuff on your site.

  20. I'm watching the show right now. It started at 11 so I'll be up until 1. Billy Gibbons is on now. Way to go Mike.

I saw the last hour of the show and it was pretty damned cool, I'll have to catch it again to see the first hour. Was it only cancelled 'cuz Jesse James wanted to retire? It was a good show.

Yeah, what fun is buying Ferraris to thrash, and banging Sandra Bullock all day? What a loser.

Maybe he'll retire to the HAMB. We can give him his own section.

I thought it was kinda odd too--EVERY episode he's made some sort of custom header/exhaust arrangement, and this one, the LAST EPISODE EVER, and he's not there to do the headers ?? Mike, care to elaborate ? By the way, I just talked to Daryl Starbird this afternoon, then I saw him on TV and thought, "hmm, how weird is that ?!". Anyway, the car turned out ****ing righteous, dude !! A big ****ing thumbs up from me, Mike !!

i guess there was a big blow out between the producer of monster garrage tom beers and jesse james so thats why he is doing his own stuff and has his own production company they said they cutt out the west coast choppers shots used as well in the last one and tom beers wanted to keep one more car for himself its sad there was nothing said about him not beeing there with no mac tools !!! choppers for life

Well, I watched it last night and glad that I did. They could have left out all the references to previous shows and all the "old" shots and spent the extra hour showing us how you all did your magic on that '54 and I would have been happier, but oh well. That color combination is righteous! Too bad the car didn't end up with 18's instead of those 21st century 20's, sorta looked out of place in my opinion. Was also wondering why they went with the corvette engine since they completely changed the rear end by fabricating a 4 link why could'nt they have went to a different front end and use the engine they first planned on? Just wondering.......

Wheels were so wrong for a car soooo *****in, I also wondered why the grille didn't get more attention, like a small tube grill or some teeth.

Watch for a Monster garage frenzy on Ebay.

I saw that Jessie was getting tired of all the media hype anyway. The blowout might have just been his excuse to quit.

    Just my $.02

    Hell yeah!

Ok- the jesse deal as I know of it (don't take this as stone hard fact- please this is just what I over heard from people....)

The Iraq build was kinda the start I guess of the jesse leavig thing. He paid for the whole thing and hired the crew of MG out from under the media company er something like that... Then he was like man, i'm tired of doing this I wanta race- like figure 8 cars and some other stuff- well then the money thing appeared and that's when the falling out happened. He's doing what he wants with the money he made and enjoying himself with out getting h***led an told what to do and when. Like the tv producers tryed to do.

Again this is only hearsay and what I think happend can't elaborate much more that this cause I cant..... hopefully what I said is true and won't start ****.

But on the car..... yes the wheels were gay- be glad u didn't see them up close!! I thought we were gonna trash that ******** but since the old timers had the last say whatever- I like the big wheels- just not those! it had the logo of the artist that did the drawing- his logo ****s!

I'm way happy w/ the show- glad yallz all liked it!

Oh yeah, and don't forget- Im the BADDEST Miget this side of the Mississippi!

Oh yeah... forgot to put that the Iraq deal was considered to dangerous and that why Jesse paid for it cause supposivly the producer liked the idea but not the danger the crew would be in- sorry I got to thinkn faster than I can type....
