I gave a fairly new 3.5 inch Sunpro tach to my dad to use on his Model A but he doesnt know which configuration of dipswitches is right for a 4 cyl. It is set for a V-8 now. A Google search didnt help. The tach says Sunpro but no other identification. Its a whiteface with 2 knobs on front. Does anyone have the info on setting the dipswitches? Thanks

  2. It shouldn't hurt to run it with the switches set in the wrong config., so hook it up (correctly!) and let the engine idle. Move the switches until you get the correct speed reading at idle. Seems like we did this with one of my student's cars a few years ago, and it worked fine.

As I recall you set it for V-8, but it's been a few years............
