If they make a bunch of junk parts do you honestly think they would make the 4 link kit better? , probably made frame conduit and old swing set pieces

Thanx guys, but my question was more for someone who had installed the 4 link and had issues with it.

You actually come on a thread that is several years old with numerous folks saying what poor quality Helix suspension pieces are and want to know how easy they are to install? What we are telling you is that they are piss poor in quality and asking why the hell you want to waste your money?
This is the crossmember from them that I mentioned on a previous page, it is tossed out in the weeds somewhere behind the garage right now. It can be fixed with several hours of grinding and welding to fix the sloppy work.
Welds ground clear though as shown in the first photo and sloppy welds as shown in the other two. If you want that "great" quality on your car because you think you can save a few bucks head on but stay off the roads I drive on.

That was an Ebay "bargain" purchase when maybe I had a couple of stiff drinks helping my judgement.

Actually, I'm not asking how easy they are to install. I'm asking has anyone had an issue with it after install. Im also aware of how old this thread is and comments of the companies poor qualities. Maybe those stiff drinks aren't letting you understand my question? [emoji12] See you on the road

I understand your question. I also understand that you may have gotten answers that you do not like. That does not change facts.

    Here's the straight-dope:

If you have these components on your vehicle, get access to a plasma cutter and remove them.

Once you have done that, cut them up, so nobody else can use them.

I didn't just stay at a Holiday Inn last night. I am a *******ed Automotive Engineer for the 5th largest automaker. I do not need to see blood on the road to know what is good or what is bad. I can computer-model and simulate the entire operation. I can do non-destructive, and destructive testing on components, after a visual inspection, and prove it. After that, I am a respected expert witness for litigation just like this company is headed for.

Read this as many times as it takes to grasp it: NOTHING THAT COMPANY SELLS BELONGS ON A ROAD-GOING VEHICLE! It is only a matter of time before they are sued out of existence.

If you will not listen to me, you need an intervention!

I understand your reply completely and have no plans to use their products. I was just curious if anyone that installed a helix 4 link had any issue on the road with it. But I suppose that's to difficult of a question and upsets others.
But off subject what is wrong with Holiday inn? Is it owned by the Hoffman group also?

I was on here a week ago about a '32 repro grille. I found out it was made by "LJ Fabrication". Dug a little deeper and Johnny Law Motors came up. Adios! I think they're called Johnny Law as you would eventually the law to help you out with your dealings!

At just 22-posts, I would be VERY careful who you talk to like that.

Pretty sure I posted this once before but it's worth repeating.
Many years ago the Hoffman Group had a small storefront within walking distance of my house, they had already been advertising in SR (I think) when I stumbled onto them, and quite honestly I was a little shocked to see them in my little suburb.
This was before word got out about these jokers so I was curious and walked in and looked at some display items. WHAT A BUNCH OF ****.
Run away from any products these death ****ers are dumping on our lifestyle.

Well it seems like Oregon has a bunch of em. People that want to ship everything overseas, about 10-12 years ago a car club I belonged to went up to Grants P*** to a car show and while we were there we got treated to a viewing of Bob Drakes, I used to buy a lot of **** from him. But as we were going through his facility I noticed a beautiful machine shop with patterns on the wall and a bunch of lathes, mills ect. all over. I asked our host where was everyone, and he was so proud to tell us that they had laid everyone off and were now outsourcing everything to Tailand or some other ****in place overseas. IE they didn't do anything here anymore not even patterns. It floored me as their prices hadn't gone down at that time just their profits went up, go figure...............enough soap box................. lets put everyone out of a job..........................

Years ago when the Portland Roadster show was still over in the Memorial Coliseum I was looking at a disk brake setup in the Hoffman display and the kid who was supposed to be their rep had no clue as to what it was or how to find out what the application was. That was when they were just starting to advertise but having a rep at a major west coast car show who was clueless as to the products he had on display was a pretty good indicator.

There are no formal regulations (that I am aware of) for after market parts. Nobody takes them apart to see what they are made of and stamps off on the design. There is a lot of copy-cat and reverse engineering going on with no back up, no R & D for sure. These clowns would know nothing about stress ****ysis and material science. The $$ is the bottom line. Catastrophic failures are few, thankfully. If they were making OEM replacement parts in volume, that would or could be another story.

Maybe nobody used them because the saw they were junk when they saw them in person. That is the opinion of at least one person that posted above. That is what he did.

Can't honestly believe you want a test bed of their junk out on the road with the rest of us.
If you're so curious buy the stuff try it. Maybe we've all been wrong.
Wasn't the "H" group also behind the tilt steering columns that were failing several years ago in Australia?

These who has tried Hoffman **** threads are really entertaining. :D
Some dumb *** asks who has bought or installed some of the various Hoffman group garbage and then gets bent out of shape when guys reply on how bad said garbage is.

Most of the guys on here know about Hoffman and are smart enough to stay away, hence no one is able to give you feedback on experience with the junk.

Or maybe some have been burned and are embarr***ed to admit it and have moved on.

Some of these enquiries read su****iously like customers who have bought the stuff already and are trying to find out if they screwed up and if so how badly :D

    Yes, it was them.

Plastic parts, in a critical-path life-safety role, in a steering column.

There was a dropped 'I' beam axle. Had a 'legend' in the center of the web. Looked like a Super Bell, but photographed 'slimmer'.
Cheap. $110, free shipping. Used it for about a year for setups. Rollers that went as far as out in the yard. It's hanging in the shop now, for 'grins'.

You hit the nail squarely on the head Blue.

Here is another point that needs to be highlighted:
And with what is posted online, not just here but all over it would be a stupid move to take that chance, when there are far better companies that have superior products for sale that don’t cost a whole heck of a lot more.
