Fuck it I'm done. Every fuckin' time I try to help with a simple explanation of a rat rod (for the most recent example) the goddamn thread is GONE by the time I get through typing in my text. I've wasted enough of my time on fucking message boards!!!
It dosen't help that I've been fucking TRYING to buff out a car that I just painted, & after THREE days of talking to the paint store guys & buying different compound & pads, etc., I finally talk to the boss who - after telling him what brand of clear they sold me - says "Oh that's the only clear we sell that you can't buff"! Now they know full well (at least I've told them a dozen times) that I don't even have doors on my building & *have* to buff everything I paint! So NOW I have to water sand the entire car with 1000 & re-shoot the clear, THEN sand & buff it. I don't have a well so I have to use a bottle for water sanding... They offered to provide the clear. Did I mention it's on a SIXTY-FIVE CHRYSLER?!! Gee thanks assholes!!! LAST time I put a product that I'm not familiar with on anything. I was just trying to save my brother some $$$ over the Sikkens that I usually shoot.
Anyway, I'm fucking DONE. I'll never respond to another thread trying to help anyone again. I'm too old for this shit. Too may cars to build to be wasting my fuckin' time anyway. Don't bother responding to this thread (it'll be deleted before you can post ANYWAY) or trying to contact me via instant message: I won't be checking. I'm sure Ryan will be glad to get rid of me!
Atl. guys: if you read this before it's deleted Dave has my number if you need to reach me. Perhaps I'll see you at the swap meets.

If you're gonna sand it and then clear it again, why kill yourself with 1000 grit? Hit it with 600 and you're half-way good with a gun, that sucker should end up looking like it was dipped
