Hello Chaps, I've been reading and trying to educate myself on this forum for some time.
I have a 1940 Ford Deluxe, which is a mild hot rod, with 350 SBC installed, I just got hold of a French flathead to put back in which I am rebuilding- slowly.
The battery condition gauge wasn't working as the car had been converted to 12 volt, anyway I found an old post on here with the relevant information on how to make it work which I have now done
and would just like to thank the people that gave up that expertise, Charlie

 

You forgot one thing Charlie...WHERE ARE YOU FROM? (location in the UK)

 

Oops- I am in North West Kent about 4 miles from Brands Hatch, if you go to google earth, I'll stand out the front and wave
