Looking at putting a full hood on the 30 and I noticed that the forward mounting holes for the hood latches are right where the motor mount is so I have no access to the inner frame to secure the latches.
Anyone else run into this issue and if so, what was your work around?
As always, thanks for the input

    Thanks e z i
I figured that would be the best option, but was hoping there was a solution that didnt involve drilling near painted surfaces...lol.
It wont matter unless I can get the top of the radiator moved forward an inch or so... not sure why the builder laid it back an inch and a half at the top. But the way things are going on this thing the reason is probably something that will be complicated and/or expensive to remedy...lol

Chappy, just checked you profile page, pretty sure you can "engineer" something. Are you going with a full hood? If just the top, there are other ways to secure it without using those latches. Nice little A, Carp.

    Thanks Carp,
Looking to go full hood... maybe... still in the proof of concept/investigation phase.
So far I have found the I will need to do a radiator adjustment and drill and tap 4 holes.
Right now I am working on the Rad adjustment so i can test fit a hood and decide if i like the look enough to drill and tap the holes, do paint work on the hood and install the lacing etc..
