1942 Caddy 7 pass 4 dr sedan

    Just found a 1942, yes a 1942, Caddy 4 door 7 passenger sedan. Has jump seats. Was a funeral car. Miles are very low (38,000) but was disassembeld and has minor rust. BUT it is all there. Looks like it weighs 3 tons. What a tank. Runs. How amny did they make?

    I never heard of one before.

  2. 1942 production ended early, in January or February if I remember right. Krause has a book that might have production figures in it, they don't always split out by body style. Probably does weigh 3 tons. I like the 41 Caddy coupes and convertibles, one of my favorite prewar cars - about all they need is to drop the suspension to look really slick.
