This one appears to have some VW underpinnings. Front suspension, at least.

What is this? Ain't no Corvette but looks GM. Any other pictures? Google says possible T-Bird, but I don' think so.

Doug I have read that it is a later version of the F88 concept car. Somewhere I have pictures of it. I seem to remember they said the original was restyled although I am not 100% that is correct. Note the windshield frame which of course has a different rake at the rear of the frame from the Tbird..

Doug I just googled it and came up with pictures sooner than if I found them in my maze of files. Here are some pics of both versions.

GM designer Harley Earl? Known to have driven many of his design concepts. Picture is a little fuzzy but that might be him in the drivers seat.

Thanks Jim and Raymay. That's kind of good looking. The original F-88 lives in Colorado at the Gateway Museum. I have touched it on it's black marble turntable.

Is this the same stash of vehicles that Griffith Borgeson found the Miller Indy cars tucked away with ?

The Cadillac that took down Dillinger in Dayton
    [IMG]

This is John Dillinger's 1933 Essex Terraplane 8, that was caught up in a two car shoot-out in
Chicago. The guy is pointing to a shotgun blast that was aimed at Mr. Dillinger.
