Anyone have any ideas from what you have used. I have a 40 Pontiac Coupe with big lock chevy, what headers would fit ? Also looking to install a later steering column, bench seat and 4 speed pedal setup, anyone ever use Chenille set up ?
On my 38 Chevy with the BBC, I used ****** block hugger headers. They actually went over the outside of the frame and then tucked in to just clear the framerails. I had Must II susp and a GM column, required 3 u-joints to go around the headers.
Same here, used the Mustang II front end. I really don't want to go fender well so your idea sounds good, were they very restrictive and did you have to order for Chevelle, Camaro etc. or were they universal style ? Was it a Chevelle column with Chevelle pedals ?
