One of my cars has mohair (probably newere synthetic material) seat and door panels that faded from tan to a yellowish color. They are in great shape except the color is now gross. Can I dye them back to tan with any success?

You sure can! I did my '49 Chevy Seat Backs with great success. It dries to a crusty surface, so I lightly brushed it with a soft bristle brush. (Ropes in pictures are original untouched, so you can see the slight variation in color with the dye). Got my Spray Dye at Joann Fabric Store.
