Tom, there's always more to see than you actually can see on Saturday...it's the "biggest day"...every GG's event is that way...regardless of what you've heard from all the naysayers.

The '61 did run...I saw it cruising around a couple of times...not running well, I didn't think, but motorvatin' under it's own power.

Trey, like anything else you've heard, it's nothing but BS...if you entered before May 19 (ten days before the event) it was $30.00...after, it was $35.00...day of the event it was $60.00 for NON-MEMBERS (but $30.00 of that got you a one -year membership (and that gets you a 200 plus page full color magazine every month)...anyone that wants to save money will always PRE-ENTER ...of course, you can always take your everyday foreign piece of **** driver, park in the dirt and dust and walk in the gate for $10.00 a day...

rog, it's like this, they won't run without gas.....nice car, though and yeah i seen it runnin (barely) around sat.... along with that annoying 57 chevy(x racer, i guess) with fenderwell headers.
i did notice there was a LOT of stuff that didn't run all that well,i'm gonna guess al***ude had a lot to do with it,well, that and the heat....

ray, GG's is just like nsra as if you're not as member, you're gonna be if you wanna play in their sandbox.

    i don't have a problem with that..
i DO have a problem with 6-7 buck beers though( and $4 gatorade and $3 water)

still had a good time but kinda felt naked without a car there...

LOL Tom...nothing runs well without gas...!!! And that '57 was annoying...along with a couple of others that liked to "rev" their engines for no apparent reason. Always gotta be those kinds at an event...only way they can get any recognition.

Yeah, it was hot up there...way too hot for June...but gr*** is always better than hot asphalt or concrete, like PPIR was. The facility is 1000% better than a treeless race trak.

Next time look me up, we always bring our own beverages...always have an extra for a HAMBer...yeah, it was pricey, but GG's doesn't have anything to do with that...that's "The Ranch...". Did you notice any other kind of beer there besides Budwieser...at the Budweiser Events Center?

The 27T with the Quad4 looks pretty tight. Whats the trans setup and how was it adapted?

well, i did see yer car but hell, i NEVER see people unless my wife points 'em out, same with swap meets;)

kinda thinkin' next time if i don't have a car running, i'll load something on the trailer and put big dollar signs on it in the swap meet and then i can haul my own stuff in..

btw, you are correct about the budweiser thing but for 7 bucks it ought to be COLD....

  24. How was the car count? Just for the record, it was hot everywhere in the midwest. I was in Pueblo for lunch. 98 degrees. At 2:30 in Fowler, it was 105 on the bank clock.
