Hi I'm travelling over from the UK to Florida and I need to get some '40 - '48 brake cylinders and 1 3/4" shoes.
Can anyone let me have an address where I can get them. I will be based in Longwood for a week and then up to St Augustine for 6 days. I will be visiting the Gatonationals as well so I can travel to get them.
    Thanks in advance,
    Nige

One place I would not have guessed, but I bought a set of front and rear brake shoes for my 48 coupe from Autozone auto parts. They also had the wheel cylinders .There are several in every town in the US. They were about half the price of the specialty antique Ford parts houses and they were actually well made, looked like rebuilt on original Ford metal shoes. They had to be shipped to my home store because they were located in a warehouse, I think somewhere in Missouri. Might look them up online to see if they still stock them.
