    Hey,
I am wondering if this is a GM 12 bolt rear diff cover?I found it when I was cleaning an old Fina gas station in near my home. I have had it for a couple years and just found it the other day. It has no manufacturing part number or name except the HE on the back and it is made out of aluminum? The thing is kinda cool.
    So
Is it for a 12 bolt rear end?
    Who made it?
Any idea if it is worth anything?

    J

Looks like a GM Corporate (truck) 12-bolt cover. These would be found under '64-'82 GM 1/2 and 3/4-ton trucks. No idea on the make, though.

    I have a Dana 25, 27, 30, 35C, 44, 44HD, 53, 60, 60HD, 70, 70U, 70HD, 80, and a 135. It does not match any of those.:p

None of them have a bolt that high up in the pattern, in the 11 o'clock position.

Used to build 4x4 stuff. Only the 44HD and the 60HD are under a vehicle (my daily). The rest are slowly being sold off.

Look at the like I posted. See the position of the bolt holes. The highest ones in the pattern give it away. All of the Dana axles have a single bolt at the top of the pattern. Your cover has two. It is not a Dana cover.

Whats wrong with bumping an old thread about vintage parts that are hard to find? Not seeing that it was sold was dumb on my part. it must be nice to sit around and monitor a website all day.

Relax, this is some the good old-fashioned ball busting that used to happen here a lot. No scars or bruises, just sorta like hanging in shop with a bunch of smart *** car types. Have a good day...

Nope, looked like a pretty cool website. Also, now looks like i could learn alot from here. For example, like how to read and how to be a site monitoring Douche Bag... However, its all in good fun. Most Importantly, i would like to gain some more knowledge about Hickey enterprise. Do Any of you guys have any knowledge or parts?
