i was'nt sure what to think of that at first glance either but the more i looked at it the more i dug it... 60s dragster inspired hot rod. it must take some getting used to to drive from BEHIND the rear wheels.

Just got into town at 1:30 pm, NumNuts and l left Waterford around 8:30 am in the rain but got out about 50-60 milels and everything was sunny...all the way home.

Kirk, keep the show going it was a blast and great to have met you...along with the man, Boommer, and a great greeter, Denise and many more of the HAMB Gang.

Also a special thanks to the POOR BOYS and all those who stepped up to the plate with tools and helped Numnuts install a new lifter Saturday morning after one had callasped the night before coming into Waterford and had time to stop at Bommers Place to have a cool beer before turing in for the night.

Tires!!! What Tiers??? Now that was a blast to have done the burn-out, but, What in world was I thinking...brand new Coker 31" tall GoodYears. Boy!!! it took all the rubber off to about 1/16 of an inch before it would have been a certified slick.... Oh Well, it was fun!!!!!!!!!!!
    See you all next year!!!!!!!1

I was standing there when they first pulled in, we were all astounded by the intake pipes, which garnered further inspection. Everyone was like "what the F**k is that?" Here's what I came away with:

Had a fuel injected V-12 Jag, Jag independent rear, looked to be Jag gauges...and airbags on the suspension with some sort of tractor grill. Looks like they took a wrecked Jag of some later (90's?) vintage that I'm not framiliar with, and melded it to this body/ch***is.

They drove from Toronto, from what I heard; and that's about about a 5 hour trek to where the fairgrounds were. They showed up around 10 AM, so they left pretty early and drove through the night. I say "they" because this showed up the same time as the "gullwing coupe" that sat alongside it and the white '58 Wagon, too. Apparently, they are from a shop out of Canada.

Beyond that, that's all I got.

We had a blast. Unfortunately we missed the meet-n-greet. I forgot to bring my camera to work today, so I can't post my pics. We'll definitely be there again next year. I think we might try to borrow a friend's '60 Impala so we can actually be in the show. It would have been nice not to get soaked because I left my hat and sweatshirt in the car.

I didn't get to talk to to many people as I was kinda overwhelmed, but I ended up under a sun tent with the owner of that nice '27 roadster with the E&J headlights - nice guy! I talked with him for quite a while during the second downpour.

I'm very, very glad I went.

It was great meeting you! Thanks for the poster bud. I really enjoyed our chat and will send you the link to the HAMB member I was telling you about.

It was another successful BilletProof. Great cars, great friends, AWESOME pinstripers, great burnouts, the coolest trophys around, and really good BBQ pork.:D What more does a hot rodder need for a cool show.... well maybe alittle less rain. ;)

It was wonderful to see so many old buddies and to meet so many new ones as well. I haven't seen the group photo yet but I bet there was 40 HAMB folks in it!

I'd really like to thank all the HAMB stripers who added to my door and those that did up a switch plate for me. I'm thrilled with the way each of them turned out. Thanks guys!

Thanks to Kirk!, Boomer, the rest of the Peckheads, Poor Boys, and especially the wives of the Peckerheads and PoorBoys who were maning the gate and I'm sure doing alot of the behind the scenes stuff.

Hopefully I can get my photos up tonite.
