I am thinking of using Vintage Flatz satin black on my '46 Oldsmobile. I was not able to find much in the way of reviews on the Vintage Flatz products. Any experience with using or opinions about their products would be appreciated. Thanks
I can see this vehicle in a smooth, high gloss, dark green. I think that these flat paints will be going the same way as red rims.
While I like red rims, I agree with coconuts. I used the maroon for some scallops once. Easy to shoot, held up for the time I owned the truck.
Flat paint is DOA. It's been way over done and is no longer a statement . Find a nice color that will compliment you car and put a good paint job on it , you'll be happier in the long run . Again , my two cents .
So I haven’t personally shot Vintage Flatz there’s another company called tcp global that makes a brand called Hot Rod Flatz. I’ve heard really good things about this paint. It is priced very well and they have a bunch of colors even metallics. I hope this helps. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Just messing with ya Havent shot the brand youre looking at TCP global restoration shop satin is nice. They also sell flattening agents and will mix any color as satin or flat. Ch***is / satin black is a standard color. You have to be able to lay it down smooth and even or any satin / flat can tiger stripe. I use their urethane on ch***is and underbody check them out.
