    Picked this up at the swapmeet over the weekend - never saw one like it. All wood with amazing pressed details.

    Any idea what it may come from?

    Its worth building a car around.

  5. Did you get it at Midland?

  6. I saw the same wheel on a car in Paso. Don't remember which car but I remember the wheel.

    That _is_ an extraordinary wheel. Are the spokes wood, or cast metal?

    That is a work of art. Surely it must have been on a higher end make given how ornate it is. Possibly brass era.

    We had one like that in a car when I was a wee lad. I asked my momma about the writing on it as I was too young to read. She said it was 'cause my brother was really advanced and that I was a retard. Stupid is as stupid does.

    The spokes are all wood as well as teh wheel itself - amazing craftsmenship on this thing.

    It did come out of the Midland swapmeet - the seller knew nothing about it unforfunatly.

    I think it might be related to this;

    I'll give you $1000 for it.
