Man! What a great time! Sorry I missed the noon meet and greet, I was parking cars and hocking t-shirts and never made it over. I would have liked to meet some of the new faces. I did get to see Aaron's Chevy finally run, and ran in to a lot of you guys. Thanks to all who picked up T-shirts from us! As always, thanks to KIRK for putting this shindig on and the Peckerheads and Boomer too...

That's Chad's truck. He dropped in for a little while but didn't stay too long. His wife just had a baby, so he was taking care of her. Chad is the one that did the tiki's that we were selling at the Poor Boys merch table.

See ya all next year, or sooner!

What did you guys think of this sedan? I loved it but i hear lots hated it. The right hand drive was kinda neat and it looked bad *** rolling.

any chance someone got a good shot of Denise's interior... I know the dash has new stuff on it... but what about the upholstery?

Is it done yet? Or close? I need to know...

I wondered how that car got into the show... I thought one of the rules stated 'No IFS on a fenderless car.'

Beyond that, I kinda felt sorry the it. I am hoping the owner eventually does something worthy with that beautifull vintage tin.

Well, there's always someting that gets by. I didn't really like it too much. Interesting, but in no way traditional.

He's a local guy in my area, has a shop right around the corner. Nice dude, WAY cool car...I checked it out at one of the cruise nights last year, and he had it at Autorama this past March. It looks even MORE incredible in person.

I'm not big on early 60s full sized Fords...but that one is PERFECT!!!

that was my buddy Dan Turner's 40 Ford truck with the SBC with tri-power and the home made piston top air cleaners. he's a clever sum***** and recently built the nicest louver press i've personaly seen. it works great too. we've been punchin holes in everthing we can get out paws on. the hood on his 40 was the first thing we did with the press. is a thinker and one of those guys who can not sit still. i'm hoping he'll rub off on me a little.:D

thats what happens when a mini-trucker builds a "hot rod" :D ... it was a bit too over the top for me... i actually know the builder. he and his dad are a couple of very talented guys but i still did'nt care for this car too much... his Ford Ranger he built a couple years ago was pretty damn nice though.

Dan was a cool fellow...we talked to him for a bit...I say "we" because I think at that point I was walking around looking at the cars with Gus and a few Hambers gathered around his truck at the same time I shot the pics... It was really cool. The piston tops on the air cleaners blew me away, and I had to get a closer look...which resulted in the pics of the engine. I loved it.

I had heard earlier in the day about a certain guy "going crazy with a new louver press", I guess that was him. I'll have to make sure I do a proper intro next time... Thanks for the input!

Those Guys Are Awesome, They Did The Air Ride On My 50 A Month Ago, And Wow!! Sweet Fabricators. The Dad Is One Of The Coolest, Knowledgable People I Have Ever Met.that Car Was Built Using What They Had. The Quality Of Their Work Should Really Be Seen.

That sedan sounded like it was running on four cylinders when I was behind it on the way home, Damn thing sounded like a VW it looked like it went down the road pretty good. He p***ed a cop and the cop looked in the rear view with a big *** grin on his face.

:D Probably because we drove a '96 Blazer and you drove a '47 (?) Oldsmobile! It was a cool barn, though. If you get a chance next year, wander out into the spectator parking and check it out. Its huuuge (note my wife in picture for scale!). Also, there was some neat old iron that people had driven in but not registered.

    Exhibit A:

  23. That barn is new... well, old! They moved it piece by piece from behind the Frosty Boy on Dixie Hwy last year. It was donated by the previous ower. Way cool barn... no cars in it though... Just horses and poo!

    Well,
My first Billetproof, and I even had something to drive to it. We totally dug the show, excellent venue choice. You gotta love burnouts like that and the ability to bring your own beer to the show.
The sedan with the green wheels sounded and looked totally bad*** as he p***ed me on 75, one of many favorites.
I hope some of you dug our hauler.Does anyone else here have any thing similar?
Can anybody enter those figure 8 races? My friends and I would love to enter next year.
Looking forward to next years show, anything else like that around Detroit this year?

Does the red oxide primer duece roadster still belong to Hammer Hank. Or does it have a new owner? Great Pixs.

I dug it. How'd the engine get yellow? Looked like the entire truck had been different colors at one time.
