    Hi Fellow Hambers,

According info that we received our coupe has been in Portland Roadster Show in the end of 60's. Is anyone able to confirm the place and year when this photo was taken?

well based on the plate its post 65 as that plate was introduced in 1965, but that is the Portland Roadster Show when it was held in the Memorial Coliseum. Hard to truly date as the show was held there from the 60's through the late 80's

Sun-bleached photos often have a little color information hidden in them. Yours was mostly gone. I played with it in Photoshop, but there wasn't much left:

Judging from the registration tag, it was either 1967 or 1971.

Thank you Taboo56Chevy confirming the place and SR100 photoshoping the picture and limiting significantly years. Wishing someday finding more pictures from the show and official hand program.

  5. Al Drake was regular at all those shows and always with camera in hand. He has since pined a few books about the north west and it's Hot Rods. He is still with us. He might be able to shed some light if you can contact him. I have no idea how to do that. Al's probably in his mid 80's now.

  7. Here's another thought. The Multnomah Hot Rod council has always promoted that event. Not the first few years but mid 50's on. They must have records as well as event programs. The programs have a list of cars and owners. Might be a good place to go being you have a year for the car. They may even be on line.

The MHRC has always promoted the event from the beginning actually, it was one of the reasons it was formed. MHRC formed in 52 and the PRS started in 56. I know someone has all the programs somewhere because for the 60th anniversary show they made posters of all the covers.
