Model A Truck bed

Hello All
Just wanted to know where the best place to buy a Model A truck bed for my 31 would be. I would like a used one but chances are slime on that one so a new one is my only choice.

Chances are slime? Are you looking for a wide bed or a narrow bed? I've seen both in Mac's catalog.

 

Mike's A-fordable A's has them. i think they are around $1300

I just bought a cheap truck with one on it, they are out there. Of course, that's the only one I found up there and I have plans for it.

Brookville sells one as a kit for around $1200 if I remember right - not cheap, but it's brand new. An original that needs a floor is worth around $500.

 

Keep An Eye Out Everywhere You Go, I Just Got A '30 "a" Bed For Free That Was An Old Brush Trailer An Old Guy Had Layin Out In The Back Yard.

I think I'll hold off on buying a new one. I'd rather have a old one in good shape. I'll just have to keep my eyes open for now. I'll checkout the site's that you guys have listed above.

The BEST way to get a bed Cheap is to find one someone has made into a trailer.
The whole trailer is worth about $75.
I have posted pics here before of trailers I have---: A Model A trailer , $75, a 1936, $25, another 36,$75, a 1935 ,$75, a 1949 free, and a 39 I made so its kinda free too. 54 Chevy free

 

Look on EBay for the address and Ph.# of Last Refuge in CO. They have A bed kits.

 

I'll second Last refuge Hot Rods. They sell a kit for $500 bucks or so and will customize one to your dimensions, bead design etc.
