Here's mine: 1946 Chevy 2 ton. Was an Indiana farm truck with a grain bed, 160" WB. has 33k miles. 2 speed axle (slow and slower) & duel wheels. It's now a 134 WB so I can put a 9' bed on it and it will still be only ~ 18' long and fit in a garage. Original 235 was long gone when I got it, so I now have a rebuilt 261 that came out of my parts truck and a Clark 5 speed OD trans (from a fellow HAMB member) with a PTO for the dump bed. It's tucked away warm and dry for now until I can get back to it and finish it up..... couple other projects to finish up first but maybe by next year...… I can't wait to put it to work!
No don't have any extra 22.5 wheels. I bought the bus and metro at a estate sale. The guy had moved here from Indiana and drove them to southern Mo years ago. I did not get any titles for them. The transmission and driveshaft and rear end is still in the bus. I still have the radiator. the hood was sold long ago. Ive been storing parts in it. I moved the bus and metro with my old 64 chevy 3/4 wrecker.
That looks more like a 71 or 72 GMC to me, Old Wolf. Could have a different front clip I guess, but I thought all 67's were small back window?
I'd love to come visit, too. It'd be neat if Anthony and I could get together when it gets warmer and head up that way.
Nope its a 67. any small window of that body style is a 67. However a large back window could be had in 67 it was a option.
Greetings again Boneyard!...I understand the thing for winches, the 1960 3/4 ton 4+4 has a 10000 pound Ramsey pto winch.....and a buddy and I used to call drinking and chasing women " WENCHING AND GROGGING" !!....( I'm happily married now though!)
We are building a 39 Ford one ton pickup into a truck tractor. Built 4-BT Cummins with a Fuller RTO-610 10 speed transmission. My buddies at Bad Donkee Hot Rods and doing a TON of fabrication.
Stumbled across this eBay item (Oakland CA). Maybe you could have seller throw in the shoebox, convert to a ramp truck, to carry the shoebox to cruise nights.
I rescued his jail bar a couple years ago. It was headed for scrap iron. It's available if someone needs one.
Has anyone here ever seen a “ Okay” truck? They were made in a little town of Okay, in Muskogee, Oklahoma , in the early 1900s. Would like to see one or even buy one. Would like any pictures of one also. Thanks in advance, Bones
I made some progress today. I cleaned up the welds and moved the cab back up where it mounts. I am hoping that in the next few weeks I will be able to get the fenders, radiator and hood mounts figured out. This is a 76 class C that I narrowed and put on the dodge 34 frame.
I have a 1971 AM General M35a2 6x6 truck does that count? It was designed by REO in 1947 first production models were 1949. Denny
