My brother(MO JUNK) and I will be there along with the group we usually run with. We usually set up on the grass between the entrance and the swap meet on the west side of the road. Everyone is welcome to stop by. We will take my brothers truck and his track T. I will be the gray haired guy, wearing a hotrod T shirt, Levis, and I will probably have a cold adult beverage in my hand. I should be easy to spot.
Roadstar and I will be there on Saturday only. We'll be hanging out at the MO boys encampment which I believe will also have the RRT BBQ trailer close by. Not really my place to invite but I think if folks stop by around lunch time you'll be able to grab something hot off the grill for a small donation. Oh well, looks like I just invited everyone I'll also be found on Saturday in the pits of the HAMB diggers.
Will be there Saturday only. Will probably wear a Jalopy Journal T-Shirt and not be easy to spot (I mix in well with the gold chainers, HAH!!). I'll probably spot Denise's car, and come over for a bite.. Spoons
What Something happen to the wagon? Well if it makes you feel any better I won't have a car there either. Unless you count the Rpu Body I'm picking up, but I certianly won't be driving it anytine soon. See you there Saturday Chris.
I will be there for Saturday only. WZ Junk will hunt you guys down this time and not miss you, like in Springfield. Toad
I'll be there riding around on a golf cart with a camera....I have lots of tattoos, sideburns, and a goat-tee beard and I'll have a grey shirt, a black hat, and big sunglasses on, throw stuff at me if you see me.
We'll be up there Sat....waiting to hear something from Heath (Irritant) Maybe we can catch up to you all this year. Never seemed to catch up the last couple of years..
Looks like good weather for once. If you're bringing a hot rod look for details on entering the HOT ROD of the YEAR competition. It's not about the prettiest car. You have to do a 120 mile reliability run, a drag race and then a show and shine.
Leaving today at 3:00. Plan to be there tomorrow at about noon. Travelling with my frienda Steve and Sally who will be racing their Bantam roadster (blown injected BB) We'll be in our turquoise '63 Dodge convert - how many of those can there be? So, if you see us stop by and swap some lies and cool ones. PS - Bob, you going this year? John
I"ve got a damned open house here at the airport from 10-3 so I'll be here gorging myself on chilicheesedogs in the 86 degree heat. I'm thinking the Goodguys closes up around 5? Do they have amply port-o-lets in case I can make a break from the chilicheesedog festival here?
Big Olds will not be there. I'm playing the dutiful girlfriend this weekend and will be riding in the big truck with Roadstar. He's picking up a RPU body and a bunch of other parts for his new roadster project. We will be at the RRT BBQ for lunch though and throughout the day.
...it would really be nice to have everyone stop by and say hi to the Ramrods and the Hornets teams...also let GG know how much you like to see the HA/GRs race, and maybe they'll let us run at their other races... we need your support.
You KNOW I'll be there. I gotta say, outta all the GG shows that I've attended, the Indy show has the BEST after hours hotel parking lots activites going on....bar none.
Isn't that where all of the gold chainers hang out? The hot rod of the year has to drag race? A very good friend of the family, Jim Evans, was asked to participate. (32 roadster... black with flames... steel wheels... spartan red interior... was the t-shirt car for the last Berrien Springs show) I wonder if he knows he has to race it...
No, it's where the gold chainers arrive several hours early to power park, and everyone else blocks them in and hangs out....
I was actually being serious .... I guess I shouldn't have used the term gold chainer. I know there are a couple of big hotels together... I thought that was the main one. Sorry
No worries, I'm being serious too. These guys will leave the show at 2:00pm to get back to the hotel and get a spot. It's a good time. I guess I should have used a smiley icon....
