motor comes in a 65 Grand Prix?

Right on. We have one in the shop right now getting a system in it. The motor sounded kinda stout I was just wonderin'.

 

It could be a 421 also. They were badass from the factory.

 

a SBC 350/350 combo would be real cool in that street machine.

 

i had a 421 i bought for next to nothing out of a catalina sittig in the neighborhood.He said it was a 350,i just thought it ran good.After i pulled it and put in a bbc a local bought it for the crank.

and just to stay on topic we had a 389 powered grand prix in the family,got a call one early,early morning from the cops saying they had it as it had been stolen and ditched in a pond.We drove about 2 hours to pick it up pulling a trailer and hoping it was to bad.It turned out ours hadn't been the one in the water

Naw, he's just lookin' to capture a BB Poncho cheap.

Come to think of it, a 700R4 behind a bored 400 sbc might just be the ticket. Ask the Poncho owner if he wants to trade.
