1952-59 Ford Mystery headlight bezels

I plan on going out to snag some parts from a CL post and this car is one source of said parts....Pardon my ignorance, but anyone know what headlight bezels these are? Thinking of trying to snag them just because they're different, but wondering what they are. Thanks in advance.

 

They look to me like they are from an old J C WHITNEY catalog.

Saw two of these at the Pate Swap meet today looked like they were cast pieces

 

Yeah, they are cast. I bought them this morning and my son and have been working on painting them. I’ll post a pic once they’re done

Found them in the 60s JC Whitney catalog. Only $3.75.. I guess that's inflation for u.

That is exactly the look I was after... I did purchase two from a 55/56 and they fit somewhat except at the bottom where those aftermarket ones are tapered back to fit the 53 fender may just fabricate the eyebrow (as I call it) type of trim myself...

 

Even cooler...Then yours are true custom! I like how they kind of killed the bug-eye look.

 

Yeah, my thoughts exactly... I'm not fond of the look of the factory ones... so I'll be working on them asap....

 

I believe the 54 bezel has a slight eyebrow compared to the 52-53. Not as pronounced as the IF ones.
