I have to shorten the guards! With hindsight ,it’s very too high! You can’t see clearly in the pictures.. the details make the difference...
No, because this increases the height of the rear "visually" The guards must be inserted more into the bumper for a packed effect.. and finer effect .. And i wanted to change my look because I already had a bar PS: your project car is incredible! Telstar number 2 ?
Salut Arty. That's a real improvement on the rear, one problem of French cars of the 50's is their trunk are too short, it looks almost like they got shortened in the quarter panels/trunk area. That 404 needs lowering and a chop.
I would go with the smaler guards. In original hight they look to big to the small body, but that is my opinion
J'ai rallongé pourtant la malle! Faut du merite pour kustomiser une Française! j'avoue.. un vrai c***e tete. Pourquoi me parles tu de la 404?
la voiture très fraîche, vous avez quelques connaissances sérieuses. Gardez-y. Man I hope that comes out right. Let me know...
First realization but the tail lights are too much taken away from the fenders! Like that it is better To be continued...
C'est une vraie tuerie, cette voiture! Je ne la connaissais pas. Bonne chance pour la suite; je vois que tu n'es pas en manque d'idées...
Great work. You have amazing vision . As a flatheat enthusiest ,having owned what I thought was every model sidevalve that ford made ,including Beaulieu ,chambord and vidette ,your engine has the waterpumps in a position I have never seen on French v8s . Mine all had a single pump cast as part of the front distributer /front cover .curiouse and curiouser .Anyone got the facts on why go from a good setup to a worse one ,or is this block a very early style ?
