If your looking for ideas of how to kustomize your Chev, would get more photos by including all 49-52 instead of just one year and model. TWOCHOPS
Damn, wrong again! I've never seen one and the model identification charts don't show it... oh well, back to wrenchin' on my '57 Edsel. Bryan
51chevysled, I'll cut you some slack. I've only seen a couple of them... and I can't remember ever seeing a 49 ht, only 50 & up. Seems like I saw something somewhere that said 50 was really the 1st year for the BelAirs. Don't quote me, tho! Now, back to the topic... lessee some pics of hardtop Chevies! Anybody got one of Larry Ernst's car handy? (Either incarnation of the original... or the more recent clone... or the restored original?). How bout the LaJolla Chevy?
Here's one from Carnut.com to back you up Slide... Funny thing about Carnut, at least for the few '50 HT pics, about half aren't '50s. Here's another HT... Sorry, can't resize 'em and repost from work. Bryan
Swiped these from hotrodsonline.com: http://www.hotrodsonline.com/cf/oh/HallOfFame/LaJolla/index.html Not the best photos, but dig the use of a different back window... think it was 49 Plymouth, but I can't remember.
Was going to post some photos of Harry's La Jolla chev but was too slow .Here's Larry Ernst's restored 51 instead. TWOCHOPS
G'Day, Here is a shot of my 51 belair I brought in from the states back in 06. Two years work to get her to this stage, wanted to keep her mild ol school hence not too much bling etc. she runs a 54 blueflame that hauls her along real good, enjoy Kiwi coyote, New Zealand[
