Been broke lately so I’m findin little stuff I can do with stuff I have layin around.. today I made a bracket for the original model a ebrake handle. And made a floor board( eventually I’ll use some better looking wood. Just had this piece for now. The kick board part I’m prob gonna make out of metal. Not real sure yet. Sorry for some of the boring posts I realize a lot of this stuff has been done a million times probably, but hopefully someone will find this helpful.

I didn’t really like the way the pedals were so I cut em up. Got em where I like em but still not 100% sure on the clutch throw. I have had it all apart and changed angles like 30 times in the last couple nights. If anything I may just make the clutch arm a little longer cause it seems pretty stiff. ..[IMG][IMG]

Well, changed my mind and decided to take 4 inches off the top. Got sick of dicking around with fenders and said screw it. Now she looks like a hustler.

I agree, don’t use the original glass, safety glass is cheap insurance.

Yeah I think it’s actually safely glass but if not I’ll definitely swap it.

when I got mine done I cut templates very accurately with a jig saw out of 1/4" mdf and sanded and planed the edges for an accurate template the machine scaned the templates and they were cut on a cnc cutter that polished and bevelled the edges for a production quality finish.it wasn't as expensive as I expected.glass slides perfectly in the runners.however I had to wait a few days while the glass was sent out to be toughened.

Got the chop finished up an some paint blended in. Also wiped the car down with some penetrol.. I couldn’t be happier with it right now. I didn’t spend a ton of time to make it perfect but it’s pretty straight and no BS. If I ever decide to pull it apart and give it a real paint job I’ll worry about it then but let’s keep it movin. now I can get back on to mechanical stuff I think I have mostly everything I need to to finish brakes and complete the engine. I really need to figure what I’m doing for wiring. I have a brand new stock model a wiring harness.. thinking about using that but adding a fuse panel than branch off from there. Keeping it 6 volt too since I have a new battery and my generator and stuff is the 6 v stuff. Any suggestions on wiring? Or any good schematics from a later ford I can follow? The paint has a lot of heavy cracks and it really
Seals in there and give the old patina a shine. Just seems a little better then water getting in behind it all. If I ever get around to painting the car I’ll have to strip it all completely down ... trying to avoid that for a little while.

Wiped the car down with mineral spirits first thanks just soaked(heavily) a rag with the penetrol and wiped it down and it really made a huge difference.

[IMG] I cut the windshield down and got it back in also got some of the garnishes cut and fit . Working on my seat now. My steering wheel is way up there... it feels so wrong and so right at the same time. It’s definitely different but I kinda like it. Lookin through the wheel for sure..maybe change up a little I dunno.
