Technical Speedway 3/4 Heim and 3/4 steering shaft?

    Sounds like they are bored a little TOO oversized. Have you put a dab of grease in there? That might quiet the chatter down a little.

    Aside from the standard, spend money on steering parts comments, I got a few good tips (red and sticky grease for sure getting thrown in the mix).

    Steering shaft measured up at .749

    Heim ID measured .758

    9 thou of play, plus there is some metal on metal play in the heim itself...even though it felt pretty tight at first.

    Called Borgeson...same deal with their steering shaft bearing...made to be anywhere from 5-8 thou over they say.

    End of the day if I can't get the noise out, I'll try a standard 3/4 heim with a teflon lining and no overbore.
