NOS magnesium small block Chevy bare block. One of 31 cast in late 1962 for Mickey Thompson's 1963 Indy 500 cars. Block is NOS, NEVER used, has billet aluminum main caps and NOS cylinder sleeves. It has two prototype "0 - " casting numbers. Even though it has a 1959 cast date it WAS cast in 1962 using the same molds as GM used for their 1959 aluminum blocks. This is a one of a kind and probably the only NOS one left of 31 made nearly 60 years ago.. Be the only kid in town or maybe on the planet with a magnesium engine in your hot rod.
