andy had permission from me to use my car for pictures... im not sure about anyone else. and for me a tatooed chick in my car is a pretty big turn on
great show. if you planned on going this year and didn't, you missed out. you gotta go next year. relay is right everyone seemed to leave their egos at home and everyone was approachable and down for a conversation. sinners got a great venue for a car show.
Andy, The shot you took of my car was GREAT!!! Thank you, btw...the girls looked good to me!..but I didnt see them in my car though, damn!
Anyone have any additional pics of the blue Austin (?) gasser-looking deal with flip front-end? Me likey.
i belive it was a studebaker with a pontiac engine, and if you talk to squirrel he might be able to find some more pics of it.
It was a 39 Stude, theres some great pics of it from past threads, I think one was "secret stude pics" The guy who built and owns the gasser works at Diamond Kustomz...he's got skills. Ill ask him to post some more pictures, I think this is the only one I got.
Andy had permission from everyone while he shot. he is a PROFESSIONAL photographer, not an asshole. and the negative attitude is definately something we do not want in Tombstone... take it or leave it, just respect it.
Dammit! The Caddy was good, ready to go the weekend before and then one of the solenoids for the 'bags went... and then another... *sigh* I don't think I would've made it with two airbags that wouldn't air up! I really wanted to make this show though, and now that I've seen the pics, I'm pissed!! DEFINITELY next year... Longroof
Apparently he didn't have permission from the owner of this car. Noone said he was an asshole, but now I am gonna say all they had to do was ask and/or accept the owners decision with a little bit of respect. We all had a good time out there, and I believe your the one that organized the show, so I'd expect a different reaction. It's more about respect and the owner of that car has been around this scene longer than you and I combined, and his taste and others may not be the same, but just have some respect for other peoples hard work.
Glad you like my Stude, I have alot more pics of it while "under the Knife" so as soon as I can I'll get some more pics up for you. It's a 39 Studebaker 2 door Champion, I shoved a Pontiac 389 with dual quads in it, and here soon I'll have a 6-71 on there, I have the intake just savin some money for the blower now.
kiss my ass, he didnt have permission from me, nobody asked me for permission to use my car, is that professional, you sinners knew who owned the car, Its on your poster, by the way who is steve from iraq the bald guy, thats who told the photographer to use my car, this is what andy and the girl he was photographing told me,who the hell is he, I might take a pic of someones car, but i would never touch there car or get into the car, thats all im talking about,, besides you guys used the car on your poster forthe show, go figure, use your own car, you take it or leave it.
Jason, I was standing right there, he did NOT have permission to touch Steve's car. It really blew my mind to see her get in the car.
Here I go being the peacemaker......People didnt know that Cooly hadnt given permission, There was just a breakdown of communication somewhere, No harm intended, just a mistake. At least no one had a car stolen, no one died from heat stroke, no one got arrested, (for driving at night without headlights...hehehe...or driving with restricted 3 day permits for that matter) and I think everyone had a great time, I look forward to next year, a 2 day event will be great!
PROBLEM IS, SOMEBODY TOLD THEM THEY OWNED THE CAR, HOW IS THE PHOTOGRAPHER SUPPOSED TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE? ASK HIM FOR PROOF OF OWNERSHIP? " LET ME SEE YOUR LICENSE AND REGISTRATION?" C'MON, GIVE ME A FREEKING BREAK! i put this show together for us all to enjoy, and have fun at, if its going to become a bitching session after each show, over a petty minute thing (in comparison) then i wont waste my time, effort, and money any more to provide this for everyone. as Arizonans we all know there is a lack of events for us to enjoy, are we all that immature that we are going to let a model jumping in someones car for a few pictures, under the "assumption" they have permission, ruin a great show like this? c'mon we're all better than that. out of all the mahem and fun that was had this weekend by everyone, im glad that THIS is the major problem...lol. although i wish it hadent of happened and the right permission was given by the right owner. in comparison to other problems at other shows we're looking real good fellas! again thank you to everyone who came, and had a good time. thank you for those of you that kept it friendly, and understood what we're trying to acheive!
