installing a amp guage

    Hi again knowledgeable ones. I just realized I don't have a ammeter. So, now the battery is dead. I should know this one but; as I grow older, I'm not always sure. Do I just put the meter in the ignition line ?

    Yes you want an ignition hot wire and not off the fuse panel. sometimes an older fuse panel will have quite a bit of resistance and give you a false reading.
