Brian, as a barn find 37 packard coupe with a 401 AMC already in it, you have the only packard on planet earth with that combo, leave that engine in there ! Make it safe and reliable and drive the hell out of it. R

 

And do not change that packard grill.

If you go "Custom" flush mount the skirts.

 

401 amc is a tough little motor, i have gave them hell in the past. nice coupe would make a cool hot rod custom.
