Now that I have decided to swap my Ford-O-Matic for an AOD, I thought it might be a cool touch to replace the trunk emblem for the "Ford-o-Matic" one to the "overdrive" emblem. Is this possible without modification, or are the studs that hold the emblem in place in different positions?

I can tell you straight up that when you switch out the Fordo script for the Overdrive script the holes will line up to fit onto the trunk lid with no issue, however, you will be left with a tiny pin hole that the fordo script needed.

This blog post explains it and has video to show the issue... I wish I had checked on this BEFORE I painted everything lol but it is what it is.

Thanks, Dan. I wonder how noticeable it will be on black. Either way, thanks for the quick response.
