Congrats! Don't plan on much sleep in the near future either!

After raising two boys to adulthood and then having a daughter (who is now 15) I feel truly blessed. Raising girls is different and I have grown so much more than I ever thought I would. Still a damn kid though!

Congrats!! There is such a bond between father and daughter, it is soo hard to equate to anything else. Wouldn't trade my two daughters on good or bad days for anything!!!

  6. Congrats !!!!!

    I've got a '95 model daughter also ;) :)

All I can say is, what they say is really true....it seems like she was only born the other day....but she's 11. Take lot of pics, videos, trips, do everything you can with them, they'll be big before you know it.

    Good luck :D

Congrats man!!!!! That's a cute bundle there. Like someone else said, do all you can for her and Mom! It's a lot of work, but you'll love it! I can't believe my daughters are 28 and 24, moved out, and on their own...it goes fast man, cherish the time now!!!!!

Congrats on the birth of your daughter. 27 years ago I brought my daughter Danielle home from the hospital in my 39 chev coupe, the same 39 I'm driving today, and the same 39 that my daughter will be driving in a couple of years when I am too old and senile to drive any more. My d aughter and I have a very special relationship,I will always cherish the time spent with her. She lives in florida now,but still catches car shows and cruise ins when she can. sometimes it may seem that you are giving up some of your free time, but beleive me you will never regret the time spent with your daughter.

  13. Good times! Congratulations, is she your first? I have 2. The best part of my life.

I've got one that will be 39 in September. I remember her birth like it was yesterday. Little girls and daddys have a special bond that only gets stronger with time. She's given me 3 terrific grandkids and I thank God for her every day.

Scott, Congratulations on your new arrival. Your life is forever changed, in a good way. I have four boys and one girl; who just turned 29, and let me tell
you, girls are great. They love to help Daddy and enjoy doing things for
him. The boys are always gone off doing things without Dad. Just kidding boys. Their all great and my youngest son; now 34, went 50/50 with me on a '34 Ford pickup w/ a Chev. 350. A real 50's style hotrod. Good luck with the sleep. It just gets better every day. Chuck (Louvers) quote=Fidget]Abigail was born on 06/07/06 at 12:00 noon, 7 pounds 6 ounces, 19.5 inches long. We just got her home a couple hours ago. I finally got the wife to sleep, and Abby is wrapped up like a little burrito on my lap. I think I've slept 4 hours in the last two days. I can honestly say the drive home from the hospital was the most nerve racking trip of my life.
