THIS^^^^^^^is why I ALWAYS recommend Rebel. (I, the 'seasoned since '55 wire guy', am using Rebel now and in the future. It's just so right.

You’re on a three year old thread, with a completely unrelated problem. Start over. New thread. Describe what you have, what you’ve done so far, and what problem you’re having.

Try to make sentences, with punctuation and stuff that we can read and understand. That helps us help you. Pictures to illustrate problems are good too.

Reaming? Dude, I’m just trying to help you. I can’t figure out what you’re even asking about. Most guys are going to read that and just quietly move on. Good luck with whatever it is that you’re doing.

Pretty much stuck with EZ in our '51 Chevy; but the manual (so called) with the rudimentary schematics is pretty bad! I've asked for better, but no luck. We also have their 'Dolphin' brand gauges, which seem okay at this early juncture (almost on the road), so fingers X-ed. It was my dad's car, now my son's, and we're pretty much tapped out so a replacement harness won't be in order, afraid. And it's all up to me, at age 79! Any help on a good wiring diagram is appreciated, gang! Wick

This is slightly worrying, I bought a 12 circuit EZ wire kit years ago, maybe 15, will be looking at installing soon. Why is it 'so bad'? I'm a little concerned that its all late gm based, and I have a 40 ford, only non stock electrical parts are an alternator, mallory distributor and some additional gauges. All dash switches, ignition button, column feed will be stock, so I may need to cut of some plugs, but all the wires are marked, so fingers crossed, I'll work it out..... just need some where to mount. hide but also be able to get to the fuse box.

I have their 21 circuit kit in mine and had no issues wiring it up. You just need to break the kit into sections (engine, cabin, rear), pull the wires to those locations, and take it one component at a time. The only part that was GM based was the column section. If you have the Ford/Chevy diagram then you should be able to figure out which wire goes where. Like all modern kits, the wires are clearly marked as to what they are for.

My brother has installed over 20 of the EZ wire kits with no problems and loves them.

I went with Kwik Wire since I saw the manual online first. At the time I couldn't find anything on Rebel.

The KW booklet was great all the way. I made notes as I went along and added them to the book.

My first complete wiring on a vehicle I used an EZ wiring kit....I bought it from a vendor at a swap meet.
Since that time, I have now wired a total of 8, all using EZ, I liken it to the painter who starts shooting a certain brand, becomes familiar/confident with it so continues to use it.
If I can successfully wire 8 vehicles with this kit, anybody can.
