I run a pair of his heads on my 34 and spoke with Tony Baron at the LA Roadster show. Seemed to be a lot of interest in his products by the crowd at his booth. He gave me a card - phone number 818-702-0043

Sometimes Tony gets backed up by the foundry......and,even he can't supply certain items at times......Try Mike Hermann at *H & H* Flatheads in La Crescenta (Capitan Insano on here).......or Streamline sometimes can supply what you need.....

Tony is a member of our racing club (Rod Riders), great guy but the business is a side line. Who can make a living with this stuff? So as mentioned he gets backed up by the foundry because he is a low production customer.
Give him a call, if you get him he will talk your arm off, if not leave a message and if no reply give another call in a reasonable time.
Tony is caring on his great family name.

I surely wish you luck. But, how many warning flags do you need? This has all the earmarks of a future "I sent my money but haven't received any goods" thread. "I am ready to buy something but you won't return my calls" is NEVER a good sign.

I think you need to delete your post. None of the above posts complained of lost money. All have indicated other issues.5 out of 7 posts (other than your's and the one above your's) all speak highly of the gent.

Well said^^^. Consider that life gets in the way, he could be ill or dealing with any number of situations. First and foremost manufacturing heads and intakes was taken on as a sideline to honor the history of his father manufacturing speed equipment. It is not something that is a full time endeavor and I doubt he would accept funds and string somebody along as was suggested.

I have his GMC 6 rocker cover and side plate. I saw him at the GNRS also in Feb and everything was OK.

Maybe not, this is an old thread and the last report on Tony was from over 2 years ago.

I understand the age of the thread. However , the preponderance of posts were favorable. There were absolutely none saying they had been ripped off. So, the post was strictly speculation and without any foundation.

    Guys,
Just to clarify, I asked the question as I was not sure if Tony is still selling the heads or even still uses the email address that was provided in one of the earlier posts, there was never any issue with a purchase. I realise he runs selling the heads as a side business but there has not been any posts about him for quite a while so was just asking the question if he was still selling the products or if there was now a different contact for him that I was not aware of.
    Thanks

His stuff is top quality. Hope he's well and continues his efforts to provide unique and well engineered speed parts. I have some of his flathead heads.

While that is very true, the majority of the posts are 8 years old. There is no current Facebook page, there is no current website. The OP sent an email a month ago and has had no response. Everything may be on the up and up and if so, I apologize. However, if I am in business and you contact me wanting to buy my stuff, I make it my business to respond.Caveat emptor has been good advice for 2000 years. Again, I hope it all works out.

You're cool! You asked an honest question. You didn't insinuate the gent was a crook without any evidence.

So, does it make you feel good making ***umptions without any evidence? Just because there is no web presence or business currently ***ociated with the address does NOT make the man guilty of anything.

No gloating that I can see. Just an example of forewarned being forearmed.

No aspersions or guilt was meant to be cast upon the person behind the business. However, there is an ongoing thread about trouble getting "paid for" wheels from a traditionally reliable vendor and I am now waiting over 4 years for a replacement part from a traditionally reliable HAMB fabricator.Problems arise even when dealing with known businesses. So,sorry, no current experiences posted, no Facebook page, no current website, no active address and no response to an email would make me very su****ious about the successful completion of an order. With anyone. I am sure there could be other ways to interpret the data, this is mine. It's entirely possible that the business has closed, making the whole discussion moot.

This is just silly. I hope the OP finds out what he needs to know and has a successful transaction. I've got better things to do. Talk about casting aspersions. Get a life, Bob. Good day to you.
