Finally got some color on my little car after a month of body work and block sanding. Still lots of work to do..Needs a wet sand and buff, but looks pretty good. There are some goofy reflections in these pics..wife, mailbox, etc that make the car look wierd, but it's actually very straight. Gotta finish teh bumpers, trim, new windshield, yada, yada and get her to teh HAMB Drags. -Abone.
That thing looks bad to the bone. I new a guy out here in Burbank, Cali that is, that had that same year and had a big *** 455 olds stufed in it and took me for a ride and I tell ya, that thing was a rocket!!!!!!!!!!! The rearend was soooo narrow, it looked like a steam roller. Nice job on yer Stude. KNUX!
I love that shade of black....BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! To really see the great work in a car is to paint it black. Ex: Cole Fosters-Hammit's '36. What more need I say? KNUX!
My second "that looks killer" post. I save them for deserving cars.Well done. See ya at the drags! Spot me 12 lengths and I'll run ya!
I am always impressed with your work. I am also afraid to brag on ya too much cause you might just up and sell it.....
NICE. How many car lengths do I get this year? Oh, and since you have so little left to do you should sand and polish out those moon disks.
DAAAAAMN thats nice. i know that was ALOT of work to get it to this point from where you started. way to stick with it.
Only those who have done body and paint work themselves can truly appreciate the effort that it took you to get that car straight enough for black. Well Done. Be proud.
Damned shame ay can't afford bumpers. Looks good my friend. Ya know there are only two colors for a hot rod, black or ugly. looks like you chose the better of the two.
