Lots of cars, crowded on Saturday. Yup vendors thin but I got a great deal on a Brookville grill and shell. Pics...,,
I told my friends to go without me this morning because I wasn't feeling well, and I spent most of the day asleep. It sounds like there was good turnout.
Hope you are feeling better by now, Al. Never a good time to feel bad. I was there for about 4 hours today, walking almost all of that time except when I would stop for a few minutes to chat with an old friend or two.
Feel kinda bad, not really a picture taker. Took one of an outstanding roadster pick up, and a couple of our group. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Went on Saturday. Heard there were about 4K cars registered. Wild 32 Sedan with 2 Blown Hemis and a neat 32 Brookville Phaeton by One Off shop. Swap meet gets less every year. Good Guys coming to York should be interesting.
Just wanted to say Thanks for the great pictures. Pretty much the same ones that I took too. Here's a few of the model car contest. Now that camping is back. The knuckledrager's are planning to go next year. It's still a nice event. Ron.... Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Thank you ! That '38 Coupe called "Cherry Bomb" is owned by the guy who painted my '39, Dave Matthews.
Certainly appears it's worth going again next year. Haven'y missed many, and it's still well worth the trip. See ya'll again next June. @40LUV, great coverage!
To all, thanks for your time spent taking the photos and posting them. Sure looked like a lot of beautiful cars. Me and my girlfriend who is my wife of 40 years now, drove my brothers truck from North Tonawanda New York to Timonium back in the 70s we slept in the bed ( it had a cap on it ) We had a great time. Thanks for mentioning Timonium guys, it brought back some fond memories. Thanks again Ron.
..............................Ron, Here's a few pics from Timonium, 1974 just for the memories..................Don.
